“Zionsville has long been a supporter of Butler athletics. Having a Zionsville Community Day gives the Town another opportunity to show our support. We are especially proud of Coach Brad Stevens and Andrew Smith, both originally from Zionsville, and the success that they have had at Butler,” said Zionsville Town Council President Tim Haak.
“Zionsville Community Schools is excited to partner with the Town of Zionsville and the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce in support of the community night at Butler University. Any time we can link our students and families with events that create unity, spirit and cohesiveness in community, and with an institution like Butler University that excels in academic achievements, it is the right thing to do. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and staff, and the Eagles green faithful who cheered Coach Brad Stevens when he played for ZCHS say, GO DAWGS!,” said Zionsville Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Scott Robison.
“This is great opportunity for the residents of Zionsville to get together to demonstrate our community spirit. We appreciate that Butler University has reached out to us for this exciting event,” said Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Director Julie Johns-Cole.
