The Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department regrettably announces that the Mulberry Fields Splash Park re-opening will be pushed back to mid-July.
Underground piping work is complete however, concrete replacement has been delayed due to weather. The department anticipates concrete installation to begin the second week of July and 8-10 days are needed for the surface to cure.
As a result of the concrete work, the Mulberry Fields play area will be closed to the public Monday, July 8 – Wednesday, July 10 until 1 pm, to allow for construction vehicle access.
The current anticipated date of reopening, weather permitting, is Saturday, July 20th.
The department apologizes for the continued delay.
