Once again Zionsville Fire Department is proud to have a special guest join us on a nightly ride through theTown of Zionsville as we complete some driver’s training. That’s right! Santa Claus will be seen riding on the Fire Engines through the neighborhoods again this year. Nightly tours will start on December 13 and go thru Christmas Eve. All tours start at 630pm and end by 830pm. Don’t be alarmed if you see a lot of emergency lights and hear Christmas carols in your neighborhood, it’s just jolly old St. Nick. Look for updates on our tour schedule, his current location, announcements of delays and pictures on the Zionsville Fire Department Facebook Page. Unfortunately, Santa won’t be able to make it down every street, but he will be down the vast majority of them. Nightly tour routes are subject to delays or cancellations due to our firefighters responding to 911 calls. Again, Santa’s status will be updated on the Zionsville Fire Department Facebook Page in the event that the tour for the evening is canceled. We will make our best attempt to cover those neighborhoods on the remaining nights before Christmas. We are excited to be able to take part in such an honor again this year. Be sure to turn on your porch lights and keep watch out your windows and listen for the Christmas music on the night Santa is scheduled for your neighborhood. If you have questions about the tour route, times or other issues, please feel free to contact Lt Scott Peters, Zionsville Fire Department Public Educator at firstname.lastname@example.org. The members of the Zionsville Fire Department and Support Services wish you a happy holiday season!
