Crime Prevention Program

Developing Community Crime Prevention

The Zionsville Police Department is seeking opportunities to develop new Neighborhood Watch programs. We believe that by providing residents with valuable crime prevention information, we may reduce the likelihood of you becoming a victim of crime. Neighborhood Watch is a proven strategy for preventing crime and improving the quality of our community.

The potential for Neighborhood Watch program is limited only by your imagination and the willingness of you and your neighbors to become actively involved. In addition to preventing crime, a Neighborhood Watch can work to resolve problems, increase quality of life and even increase the value of the homes in your area.

Implementing Prevention Programs
Crime Prevention Officers serve as the Neighborhood Watch Program liaisons, whose responsibility is to provide you and your neighbors with the information and tools that your neighborhood or business needs to successfully implement and maintain a strong Neighborhood Watch program. Please contact the Crime Prevention Unit at your earliest convenience, so that we may discuss and additional questions that you may have and begin organizing your Neighborhood Watch.

We look forward to hearing from you and working with you and your neighbors to customize a Neighborhood Watch program that addresses your needs and concerns of your area.
