About Support Services
Zionsville Fire Department (ZFD) Support Services is a vital division within the fire department that was created in December of 1997 for the primary purpose of on-scene support in the form of rehabilitation supplies for emergency workers. Support Services has grown from this primary purpose and also now organizes and operates the community fundraising events listed below.

Annual Fundraisers
  • Fireman’s Ball and Awards Banquet
    • Traditionally 2nd Saturday of February
    • For Adults
  • Larry K. Rust Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing
    • Traditionally the 2nd Friday in June
    • For Adults
  • Pancake Day
    • Always the 1st Saturday of October
    • For Families
Volunteer Information
Interested in public safety and what to do to help our community, but don’t have time for all the required training? Join Support Services today! Support Services currently has 20 members, but we are always looking for more volunteers to help. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Zionsville Fire Department at 6 p.m. for approximately 1 hour. If you are interested in applying to be a volunteer or have any questions, please contact the President of Support Services.
