Friday, September 9 - Animal Adventures: Bees

  • Ages: 3 - 6 years with an adult
  • Registration is required
  • When: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Where: Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library & Zion Nature Center
Meet at the Library for story time fun. Afterwards, we will walk to the Zion Nature Center to discover honey bees. Did you know September is National Honey Month?

Saturday, September 17 - Fall Wildflower Walk 

  • When: 1 - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Starkey Park, 667 Sugarbush Drive

The meadows and fields around Zionsville are bursting with autumn color. Learn why fall wildflowers are important to wildlife. Bring your camera to capture the beauty of Starkey Nature Park in autumn.

Saturday, September 24 - First Fall Campfire

  • When: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Where: Zion Nature Center
Autumn is officially here! Explore how nature is preparing for the changing season with an evening hike through Zion Nature Sanctuary. We’ll end the evening roasting marshmallows at the Nature Center Campfire.
