The current Town Hall will be closed to the Public on Friday September 15, 2017 (including the following Offices: Administration, Finance & Records, Planning & Economic Development, and Fire Department Administrative Office). Town staff will be on site on Friday (as well as through the weekend), to finish packing and our moving vendor will be moving items from the current site to the new building. Town Hall also will be closed on Monday September 18, 2017 as staff puts the finishing touches on items and prepares to open the new Town Hall to the public for business on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.
Please note that the September 18, 2017 Town Council meeting has been cancelled in order to expedite the transition to the new building. The first official meeting in the new Town Hall building will be the October 2, 2017 Town Council Meeting.
Town staff will be working over the next few months to bring on line all new spaces. Current plans have all spaces being completed and operational by the official Dedication which will be held November 15, 2017.
“I ask for the public’s patience and understanding as we transition to the new building over these couple of days. I am very pleased to see this great project come to fruition” said Mayor Haak. This new facility will allow the Town staff to better serve the public in a much more efficient manner in a new state of art facility designed specifically for this use’, said Mayor Haak.
