Once again the Zionsville Fire Department is proud to have our special guest to take a nightly ride with us through the town of Zionsville. That’s right! Santa Claus will be seen riding on top of the fire trucks through the neighborhoods. Nightly tours will start on Monday, December 11th and go through Christmas Eve. All tours start at 6:30pm and end by 9:00pm. Don’t be alarmed if you see a lot of emergency lights and hear Christmas music in your neighborhood, it’s just jolly old St. Nick looking to spread some cheer. Look for updates on tour schedule, announcement of delays and pictures on the Zionsville Fire Department Facebook Page. Unfortunately, Santa won’t be able to make it down each street, but he will be down the vast majority of them. Nightly tour routes are subject to delays due to our firefighters responding to 911 runs, up until 8:30pm with the possibility of cancellation. Again, Santa’s status will be updated on the Facebook Page in the event that the tour for the evening is canceled. We will make our best attempt to cover any cancelled neighborhoods on the remaining nights before Christmas. We are excited to be able to take part in what has become a great Zionsville tradition. Be sure to turn on your porch lights, keep watch out your windows and listen for the Christmas music on the night Santa is scheduled for your neighborhood. If you have questions about the tour route, times or other issues, please feel free to contact us through the departments Facebook page. The members of the Zionsville Fire Department and ZFD Support Services wish you a happy holiday season!
