The Town of Zionsville’s Street & Stormwater Department will be providing curbside Brush & Limb Collection beginning Monday, April 17 and concluding on Friday, April 28. This service provides Zionsville residents in the Urban district a means to dispose of certain spring pruning and yard debris. We cannot guarantee the collection unless your items are out curbside by 7:30 a.m. on your designated pick-up day.
April 29, 2017, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Boone County Highway Department
Must be a Boone County resident. Must bring residential waste only (no business or industrial waste). Do NOT bring: latex paint, radioactive waste, explosives (i.e. ammunition, fireworks, flares, etc.), alkaline batteries (i.e. AA/AAA/C/D are non-hazardous). Accepted items: vehicle fluids, small propane tanks, fire extinguishers, gasoline, oil based paint thinner/stains, household cleaners, aerosols, pool chemicals, CFL bulbs, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, automotive batteries, therrmometers, thermostats, tires (limits - 4 vehicle or truck tires, 2 tractor tires (maximum outside siameter 54”) or combination thereof (4 tire max) & electronics.

A $5 donation per shredding box goes to the Crime Stoppers rewards program. You can also recycle small electronics and computers free, but there is a $10 fee for glass TV screens and computer monitors.

Observations are being collected with iNaturalist throughout 2017 to help Zionsville Parks and Recreation have a better understanding of the species and habitats that thrive within Starkey Park. Bring your smart phone or camera and join Park Naturalist Mindy Murdock as she explores the seasonal changes in the park.
