Child Adult Resource Services (C.A.R.S.) is a nonprofit agency that provides day service, group housing, and production work for children/adults with developmental disabilities. Their electronics recycling program employees roughly 6-8 adults with disabilities on a weekly basis, and continues to grow with your continued support. Items accepted: All Computers and Laptops, LCD Computer Monitors/Flat Screen TV's, Printers and Fax Machines, Video Equipment including VCR's/DVD Players, Audio Equipment, Small Kitchen Appliances (mixer, toaster, blenders), UPS Backup Power Supply Units, Cell Phones, Telephones, Telephone Equipment, Any Computer related device or accessory, Remote Control, Smart Phone/Tablets, Laptop Batteries, Cell Phone Batteries, Car Batteries, Network Equipment (Switch, Router), Christmas Lights.

Enjoy the season and come to our open house at Maplelawn Farmstead. Tour the decorated Farmstead, enjoy wassail and desserts, and meet several of the character actors performing in “It’s A Wonderful Life”: A Live Radio Play – presented by the Zionsville Theatre Company from 2 - 3 p.m. each day.

Nature Photojournalist and Author, Jay Cossey's most recent publication is Familiar Butterflies of Indiana and their Natural History--a simple but detailed guide written for the general public. Jay's nature photographs have appeared in numerous field guides and periodicals, including National Geographic's first Butterfly Calendar (all 24 images), plus Audubon, National Wildlife Federation and Kaufman field guides to name a few.
Enjoy a presentation on the Familiar Butterflies of Indiana followed by a book signing by the author. Be sure to reserve your seat, and pre-order your copy at the Zion Nature Center until November 26, and pick up at the event. There will be limited copies available for purchase during the event. All proceeds support the Zion Nature Center.
