Operations

Operations Division

The Operations Division is comprised of four officers: Captain Doug Gauthier, Sergeant Robert Musgrave, Sergeant William Lamar and Sergeant C. Scott Abbott

Duties of the Operations Division:

Special Event and Emergency Incident Coordination.

Scheduling, special assignments, vacations, training, and specialized patrol.

Internal Investigations dealing with violations of rules and regulations and standard operating rocedures, violations of federal, state and local laws.

Reserve Liaison Officer, assigned to work with and assist the Reserve Division Commander when required.

Public Information Officers assigned to provide the news media with information on any departmental actions, and incidents when required.

Department information dissemination.

Management and procurement of departmental equipment.

Ensure compliance with Department rules and regulations.

Field supervision of Patrol Division officers.

Criminal patrol duties.

Traffic patrol duties.

Attend various functions and represent the Department to ensure good public relations.

Promote multi-agency cooperation and coordination.
