Brad was introduced to Zionsville 20 years ago when he helped launch Relay For Life (a community event to fight cancer). After falling in love with all things Zionsville, Brad and wife Jennifer chose to make this their forever family home. Having fully embraced our town’s unique offerings, the Burks (with four children) remain committed to giving back, including service on the Town Council.
Councilor Burk holds two degrees from Ball State University and a business degree from the University of Notre Dame. His early career consisted of teaching history and coaching at the high school level. Committed to serving others, Brad has spent the past 23 years leading various facets of the American Cancer Society. He currently serves as Senior Executive Director for Indiana and Kentucky.
A lifelong volunteer with an emphasis on youth mentoring and coaching, Brad has served on (and managed) many boards, councils and committees. His passion for community service offers a unique experience and perspective to the Town Council, where he was elected as an at-large member in 2019. He enjoys and welcomes every opportunity to connect with and learn from town residents.
