Parks Outreach
Creekstomper
The Creekstomper is a mobile recreation vehicle to deploy mobile play equipment and offer programming at a variety of events and locations including local parks, community events, festivals and more.
Want to find out where the Creekstomper will be next? Check out our upcoming Park and PLAYS!
The vehicle was previously part of the Zionsville Police Department’s fleet and served as a mobile forensics lab. Before that, it was a Zionsville Fire Department ambulance. The town will once again see a return on its investment as the vehicle is transformed to serve the community in yet another new way.
Trailhopper
In fall of 2024 the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department unveiled their newest outreach vehicle, the Trailhopper.
The Trailhopper is a mobile Nature Center, designed as a traveling I Spy Game. Where the Creekstomper promotes fun and games the Trailhopper's role will be to promote nature and environmental education out in the community.
