ZFD can provide great community-centered public education services including attending community events, church festivals, hosting station tours, firefighter chats and school-related presentations.
Schools and Community
Educating students from pre-school through 5th grade, our firefighters plant the seeds of fire and life safety which will keep our students safe for years to come. Zionsville Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Division is often part of town-wide events.
Fire Extinguisher Training Information
Using a propane-fueled fire simulator trainees are given an experience where they can feel the heat of a controlled fire and discharge a water-based fire extinguisher.
