The Town of Zionsville's boards and commissions provide citizens the opportunity to have a voice in local government. The citizens who participate in our boards and commissions and help shape the forward-moving momentum we are seeing in Zionsville today. Members are appointed by the Mayor and by Town Council.

Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC)
The MYAC (Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council) is a group of high school students living in Zionsville. It serves as a unique opportunity to participate actively in the local community though various engagements and initiatives. Beginning in January 2024, the MYAC will meet monthly and focus its curriculum on education, development of leadership skills, and civic engagement. Zionsville Community High School government teacher Mary Grabinowski serves as the group’s advisor.
